365 Days Left

Hey there,

During the spring of 2020, I had this feeling in my body that I just couldn't seem to get rid of. It was like having an itch, the kind that you truly can't ignore.

For a long time, I had been working as a film photographer on the side of my regular employment. But the films I made were always for others. Films that would make their dreams come true โ€“ but not really my own.

Then one day, when the lukewarm spring sun had reached its highest point above my little cabin, it hit me. The question of "what if I gave it my all to become successful on YouTube?".

On that same day, I started setting the wheels in motion. I wrote a long document, that I named "The Plan to Grow", which I filled with pages containing my ideas for a channel name, people I wanted to cooperate with and ideas for what content to share.

I started to scratch the itch. It was as if I had carried a small seed within me, that I suddenly decided to water โ€“ and from that moment on, there was no return.

I told myself that I would give it a year. 365 days to go all in with my project, in order to succeed. I promised myself that, a year from that moment, I would be able to look back and feel nothing but pride over my dedication to the cause.

I remember it so clearly. How I gently asked Christine if it would be OK if I gave this project my all. I asked, because I knew that it would probably mean that I would get very caught up within my own bubble, the way you do when you committ fully to something special. She gave me a big, supportive smile and said "OF COURSE!".

I then started to publish a new YouTube video every week. And quite honestly, I didn't have much of a life besides creating my videos. Every minute of every day was spent either creating, learning about how to make it on YouTube or thinking of TouTube.

Only a few months later โ€“ on August the 30th to be exact โ€“ I published a video. In my eyes, it wasn't anything extraordinary, just a documentation of a perfectly normal day in my cabin. I uploaded it and went on with my life, without giving it much thought. But then it happened...

The video went viral. And just like that, I had gone from ~700 subscribers, to 70 000 in just a few weeks.

When thinking about this, I cannot help to think of a favorite quote of mine. Known by the famous, Swedish skier and legend Ingemar Stenmark: "I don't know anything about luck, but the harder I train, the luckier I get."

So, my friend, let me ask you this: What would be possible for YOU, if you dedicated 365 days to pursuing your passion or dream?

So many seem to collect dreams, without ever taking the proper actions to realize them. Without ever trying to go after what they most want in life. Don't become one of them. Don't wait until later.

I challenge you to get started with your own version of my "The Plan to Grow" document. Today.

A must-watch, for sure.

Growth For Christmas?

I've always loved growing as a person. But I also know that growth can be overwhelming at times. That is one of the reasons why I decided to write my eBook Find Your True North.

Are you on the verge of taking a big leap of faith? Are you trying to design a life you love for yourself? No matter what change you're longing for in your life, or what area of growth you're seeking, this eBook will serve as your personal roadmap packed with creative challenges and tools that will take you closer to your goal.

But don't just take MY words for it. Here's what one of the readers had to say about my eBook:

"I have just finished the eBook. EXCELLENT. I have read many books over the years, but what those books cannot do is put the "Kalle" phrasing and personality into them. What I loved about it is the simplicity of the storytelling. The eBook walks you through every stage of taking a leap and then knowing what to do once you have taken that leap."

Christian Jaques Bennett

So why not treat yourself โ€“ or someone you love โ€“ for Christmas this year with a copy of Find Your True North? Growth will never go out of fashion ๐Ÿงก
