Hi friend,

I was sitting with my own thoughts in the sauna a few days ago, listening to the slow crackles from the fire. Even though I was completely alone, I felt so safe and heard. And it’s all thanks to my brotherhood!

Growing up, I’ve always had a mix of both male and female friends. But back then, I always felt it was easier to connect on an emotional level with my female friends.

But since I moved to the cabin, there’s a lot that has changed in that department, without me even realizing it. What hit me in the sauna was that I am just so incredibly thankful and proud of the male friends I have surrounded myself with for the last few years; I wouldn’t be close to where I am today without them.

We are a mix of the classic bunch of brothers, giving each other shit. But at the same time, we also have this relationship where we call each other out of the blue, just to hear how things are, and if we can help in any way.

It’s actually a lot like running; if you want to become faster, you have to surround yourself with people that run way faster than you. When you’re surrounded by those who are superior, you’re bound to be lifted up.
