🖐️ I Need Help

Hi friend,

Let me go straight to the point; I need help.

I have this way of letting my ego take over. It happens quite often and instead of asking for help, I just put my head down and power through on my own. Sitting here writing it down, I realize how stupid it actually is and how right Christine is when (pretty much every day) calling me the most stubborn man on the planet 😅

So how does this show? Well, for example:

I’ve been wanting my own sauna for just about 4 years. In the beginning, when moving here, I simply didn’t have the money to build or install one. But then, when I actually had the money to make it all happen, I came across a new obstacle:

I had NO idea how to actually build a sauna. Like, where would I even start? So, the big sauna project was pushed aside. For years…

Recently, I hung out with my two good friends Mathias and Fabian. We had been planning a real guys weekend at the cabin, while Christine was away. While making plans for this weekend, Mathias and Fabian asked if there was anything they could help me with, while being at my cabin. And my first response (as always) was: “no thanks, I’m good!”.

I said it without even thinking — and not because I didn’t need help. I just didn’t want to bother them with my shit or feel like I was being a burden.

But then I realized that Mathias was the PERFECT guy to ask for help with my sauna project. Not only because he’s Finnish, but also because he actually built himself a sauna last year. Luckily, I decided to let go of my ego and ask my friends if they could help me figure it all out. And turns out, they got really, really excited about it!

When the weekend arrived, we spent just about the entire time building. We hardly slept or ate, because we were so focused on the project. And on the third day there it was — my very own sauna!

I realized, asking for help is not a weakness — but rather a huge strength.

I know, it is ridiculously easy to forget sometimes. But believe me when I say it is the ultimate superpower for you, in order to truly succeed in life.

The point I’m trying to make is that you don’t actually have to be an expert to get started with things. You just have to take a look around and ask yourself, who can you ask for help? And what do you actually need, to get over the hurdle and take action?

Oh, by the way! Are you curious to find out how the sauna project went? Then head on over to YouTube and check my latest video out:

Star of the Year 🌟

Every year, in Sollefteå, a gala is held to acknowledge and celebrate local entrepreneurs. You can nominate people and businesses in a several different categories, such as “The Attraction of the Year” and “The Young Entrepreneur of the Year”. And guess what!?

I’ve been nominated to the award “Star of the Year”!

All finalists had to stand in front of a jury and hold a presentation, where we pitched our businesses, future plans and projects. On March 24th, the winners will finally be announced. So wish me luck!🤞

Btw, do you love the suspenders I wear as much as I do? You can acutally get them HERE. And hey, if you use “kalle10” at the checkout, you’ll even get 10% off!

Have You Heard My Latest Podcast Episode?

Last week I released a brand new podcast episode on My True North. This time I sat down with the lovely Cecilia Blomdahl. A brilliant photographer and videographer from Gothenburg, who suddenly found herself living in Svalbard. Like, the North Pole is LITERALLY her neighbor!

I was really excited to hear about her unusual lifestyle, her mindset and the story of how she ended up on Svalbard. And of course, I had to ask her about the polar bears and if they really do roam the streets where she lives.
